Your Instructor on the Manual Handling Instructor (Train the Trainer) Programme will be Robert Smith. Robert is our Edinburgh based Manual Handling Instructor and is there to train and assist you over the Course period.

THE TRAINING VENUE
The Riverside Museum in Glasgow is a truly unique training venue. The training room itself is spacious with plenty of room on site to carry out both the theory and practical areas of our highly practical manual handling training courses. The training room is equipped with a variety of loads where attendees can perform best practice lifting, carrying, lowering, pushing, pulling and team handling with the guidance from your Expert Instructor Robert Smith. Having a good range of equipment to practice with fully prepares you for any loads you may come across within your industry.
For your well deserved breaks there are plentiful hot drinks and chilled water provided throughout the day. For lunch times, The Riverside Museum has a café onsite on the ground floor which serves a variety of breakfast and lunch options as well as teas and coffees. There is also an exciting range of interactive displays for you to explore on your free time with over 90 large touch screen panels full of images, memories and films exhibited, each telling fascinating stories behind Glasgow's exciting transport background.
